Although this blog is for short term ideas, I started positions in PHO and IHI today for the long term account.

This market is PURE UGLY, GOOD LUCK.

SIRF

If you believe SIRF can turn itself around the stock is very attractive @ the $7.80 level.

ERTS

I like ERTS off the upgrade, 47 to 48 level for a couple dollars.

Tough Market

This is a tough market to trade, eh.

Rally

When the rally loses steam start to set some stops.

AAPL

AAPL may bounce off the 129ish level.

King

I'm not interested in trying to call a bottom in this market. Cash is KING. Only quick trades.

Whoa, got filled on my exit 20 cents below the last trade but sometimes a limit order on a day trade is risky. small winner.

AMD is trying to form a bottom off the Intel earnings call.

UGLY, bounce?

Its ugly, however we are setting up for a small bounce here while the dow is at 12450

Daytrading

What a massacre in the markets. I have just returned and have not had time to get a good read on the markets but the charts tell the story don't they.
I will not expect the markets to recover much or quickly. This appears to be daytrading time.

Wish I had sold my DISH however it is a very small position so I will continue to hold and look for a chance to scale in and then exit on a bounce. CRDC has held up well. EMC is holding, but I will unload should it continue down or add should it show strength. VNR holding.

spike

I'm inclined to believe the bears will overextend themselves soon and produce some sort of upward spike in the indices. The short side looks crowded but if enough fear is placed in the bull camp nothing will happen.

Yeah it's wicked, bounces all over the place but i doubt they will run very far. Some stocks are tempting however I will resist. I will be out for a week starting Tuesday. A VACATION.

Covered my Short on ACI, +++++++++++++++, big position
Took small hits in FLML, NTAP.


CRDC, bears are relentless, a bit of selling today also.
